Hello, and welcome to my blog. In January 2011, I became free of all my "bad" debt. I started this blog to detail my ongoing quest to save money, in the hopes it will help and inspire others to do the same.
What can I tell you about me? I'm 31 years old, I work in communications, and I hold a Bachelor of Journalism degree. In my twenties I worked as a reporter at a small-town newspaper.
I have been published in The Globe and Mail, The Ottawa Citizen, The Barrie Examiner, The London Free Press and Quill & Quire.
Getting back to freelancing is one of my goals for 2011; I love the challenge of coming up with story ideas and the feeling of independence when I'm writing about a topic I love. It's not even like work at all - really!
